Our rapid phenotypic technology operates in micro volumes and it can accurately and quickly distinguish effective and ineffective antibiotics.

For the end user, simplicity is key. In an easy-to-use and with results easy-to-interpret we can operate directly from the patient sample, test all bacterial uropathogens, and provide results within a doctor’s shift and at the physician’s site.

Workflow

Step 1.

Patient Sample

  • Fresh urine sample is obtained.

Step 2.

Load Sample into Cartridge

  • Without any requirements for sample preparation, the fresh urine sample is loaded into our one-use credit-card-sized cartridges.

Step 3.

Load Cartridge into Analyser

  • The cartridge is loaded into the installed base (analyser).

Step 4.

Receive Results within a shift

  • 4 hrs later our analyser informs the physician on which of the commonly used antibiotics are effective. A binary final readout of “Yes” or “No” will indicate antibiotic efficacy.
